JP Oils backed Motocross sensation Joel Dawson Winstanley currently leads the standings in all three Major UK National Small Wheel 85cc championships as the 2023 season draws to a conclusion. With only one round remaining in the MX Nationals, Bridgestone Nationals & Revo British Youth Championships, Joel is tantalizingly close to capping off a remarkable season in fine style.

12 year oil protégé Joel, hailing from Wigan, learnt to ride a motorbike from the age of three & has since progressed to become one of the leading riders in his age class. His passion for motocross is shared by dad Del, a longtime competitor himself, who along with mum Micheala, travel the length & breadth of the UK every weekend (& sometimes beyond!) to fulfill Racing & Training Commitments.

Joel just might have the sport running in the genes, along with dad Del Dawson, Joel’s uncle Matt Winstanley was a leading Motocross / Supermotard Competitor in the late 90’s / 2000’s whilst Grandad Ken Winstanley, who owns Motocross / Enduro facility Abram MX, has been a well regarded figure in the sport since the early 1990’s.
